Based on the diversity strategy and the diversity concept of Freie Universität Berlin, university sports also have the clear objective of recognizing and appreciating the actual and interconnected differences between people and removing the barriers that stand in the way of equal participation for all.

This objective affects various topics and areas in university sports, which we continuously evaluate and try to adapt. In our understanding, sport offers a special platform for encounters, exchange and cooperation.
